Floppy Pentagon Puzzle
thingiverse
Human: Your move, @NKCubed! This is the pentagonal equivalent of a 1x3x3, or "Floppy Cube." Because it features a similar face pattern to the Megaminx Puzzle, this could also be considered a "Floppy Megaminx." This design bears some resemblance to Mark Segedin's Floppy Prism, created in 2010, although I'm genuinely baffled by how his version managed to look so proportional. This is the first project I've made with Soldiworks 2016 that I couldn't have accomplished using brute force on SW 2003. I'm really enjoying it so far, and I'm excited to use SW 2016 to create some more complex designs this summer! Currently working on v3 of the centers. Ball centers aren't reliable, New Centers don't last long, but newer centers should perform better. Work in Progress. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtPYzcoZTlI
