This is a spool holder that you place directly on the floor, especially below your desk, to have your spools organized and accessible. This will save space, occupy unused space, keep it clean, and you won't need to make holes in your walls. Obviously, you can move the structure easily whenever you want to change its location. You can start with only one level then add more whenever you need them. You will need : - First level : 2 "bases" and 2 rods - Additional levels : 2 "bases", 4 "pillars" and 2 rods Printer : - 0.8 mm nozzle - 0.55 mm layer height (adaptative layer heigth is always better) - 3 perimeters - 10% infill - bottom/top layers : you can limit to 3 max - please do a first trial limited to a dovetail zone and set your elephant foot correction accordingly. I had to put a 0.5 mm correction and still clean a little bit the edges with a cutter after that. Once in place, nothing will move. Filament : - PLA is good enough Rods : - 25 mm diameter - beech or stronger - my length is 1 m. I haven't tried more. Given that with 1 m long, the rod stay perfectly flat, you can try longer.
