Floor Mat Holder
thingiverse
My ride's a 2004 model, bought used and sans factory floor mats. I picked up a generic set, but they kept sliding around, bunching up behind the pedals. Not safe at all, and annoying to keep readjusting them. So, I got creative. I drilled two holes in the floor mat, on the end nearest the seat. Then, I threaded a screw through each hole and attached a claw-looking piece. Tightening it down with a coin worked like a charm. Next, I placed it in the car where I wanted it to be, then hammered away at the spikes until they were buried deep in the carpet. It's been working great so far, keeping my mats from sliding all over the floor of my car.
