Floor Lamp Fixture Nut
thingiverse
My brother abandoned a perfectly good floor lamp when he relocated, leaving behind only the metal shade component that points upwards towards the ceiling, which was still intact despite having a broken plastic nut. I attempted fruitlessly to find an affordable replacement online, but my efforts were unsuccessful. So I grabbed some calipers and designed a functional replacement piece myself. To be honest, I'm not even sure what thread type it is or what the lamp parts are called. But it works just fine. **EDIT 10-7-2018:** The thread dimensions turned out to be slightly off and too loose, so I corrected them. Additionally, I added a large chamfer to accommodate the TP-Link Smart Bulb, as the original fixture was too wide and tall to allow it to fit properly. I also included two cutouts to facilitate tightening with a penny or screwdriver.
