Floor Heating Valve Knob (M30x1,5)
prusaprinters

I needed an additional valve shutoff knob since one of the automatic ones was malfunctioning. Checked the dimensions and designed this knob.

Important information for printing: Depending on your tolerances, you will need to scale the design by 1-2 percent to get it to fit. For me, 100% was just too tight to get it on easily, and at 102% it was very easy to put on, so 101% would probably be perfect.

Print at a very low layer height (I printed at 0.1mm) to make sure the threads come out accurately. Print upside down.

Note: included gcode is for a Prusa MK3S+MMU2 at 102% scale of the model.

Note 2: My floor heating water does not get very hot (~45 Celsius) so it should be safe for PLA. If your heating system uses higher temperatures, consider printing with a material that is more heat-resistent.

Please leave a comment below if you use this design to let me know if it worked for you.
