<h4>This is the Official Page of Floaty Boaty!</h4><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The prints are in a few stls:</p><ul><li><strong>Rim </strong>- This you will tape to your table as Imaged. It keeps the bases in place and not sliding all over.</li><li><strong>3DBenchy_edit</strong> - This is an edited Benchy with a hole you will glue the Peg into.</li><li><strong>Peg</strong> - This is the peg you will glue to the base of the Benchy, this is what we call a registration pin in animation. This will keep the print registered to the base.</li><li><strong>(240) Water Surf</strong> - These are the frames of the base. There are 240 of them OR you can do what I did an only use 120 of them (every odd number) and take 2 pictures or use editing software to hold (on2s).</li><li><strong>WaterTilesPrintSettings </strong>- is a Prusa Slicer settings example you can use to see how I setup my tray.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Here are basic instructions (as I would like to leave it to people to learn and trial an error)</p><ol><li>Find a flat surface that is conducive to a LONG time. Meaning, setting up and taking photos will take hours. So you need to find space that no one will touch.</li><li>Control your lighting. With a long shoot you need to have consistent lighting or your images will flicker. Use a consistent light source .</li><li>Tape the base onto the surface. I used Hockey Tape as its strong and wont leave a residue.</li><li>Setup your camera or Cellphone.</li><li>Glue the peg into the boat base, trim to desired length.
