This is an expansion pack called Floats and Boats with four major components. It's designed to team up seamlessly with any of the pre-existing sets to create a "Hot Air" Balloon, using a helium balloon, and a rubber band-powered boat, utilizing a soda bottle. Another exciting challenge idea could be a water bottle submarine that makes a splash. The hook-and-rod combo is cleverly crafted to be identical in diameter to the rods included with the set, ensuring effortless interchangeability. The holes in the balloon clip are precision-made to match the dimensions of the connectors included in the set, making it simple to attach a hubcap and rod. The thin plastic middle piece bends without breaking, allowing the knot of a balloon to slip through and get securely held in place. This ensures that the balloon won't get punctured. The cap on the float is carefully curved with a notch cut out to let the hook attach snugly without any movement. The cap screws onto the body of the float, which is hollow and can be filled with heavy material to create weight or left empty for a buoyant effect. Although both the hook and rubber-band-rod function similarly as hooks, the rubber-band-rod has an extra special feature - it's specifically designed so that a rubber band used to power a vehicle won't slip off the hook. This adds an extra level of stability to the entire setup.
