Floating State Ornaments with Heart Cutout

I decided to try another ornament design using the floating with tulle technique, just like I used for the Floating Snowflake Ornament and matching earrings. You can see the full details of the design on Thingiverse here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3264926. I added a heart cutout to each state because it's adorable and very popular right now. To print this ornament, you'll need to start by printing the state itself. Be sure to pause halfway through the print so that you can place the tulle underneath. Make sure your printer has enough clearance for a 2.1mm thick print, or whatever thickness is specified in your printer's settings. If you keep the print at 2.1mm, it should take around 10 layers, so be sure to pause after layer five. Once the state is printed and removed from the build plate, start printing the border with a pause halfway through. When the print pauses, carefully position the state in the center of the border and continue printing. Note that you shouldn't use a skirt with the state itself, but I like to add a skirt to the border, starting it 6 layers after the pause. If anyone wants me to create an ornament featuring their favorite state, just let me know - I've got everything ready to go and it should be easy to do. I printed this ornament on black tulle so that it would blend in seamlessly with the Christmas tree branches. If you want to use it as a window decoration instead, you might consider using white or ivory tulle for a more dramatic effect.
