A dream of light, floating on a sea of clouds, inspired this sculpture for over three years. My lighthouse perched atop an island, crafted as a Mother's Day gift embodying personal sentiment and reviving the trope of isolation. The SketchUp file is provided for your use. The print has three parts: top, bottom, and base. No shells with 60% infill work best for the top, one shell at 25% infill for the bottom, and no shells with 40% infill for the base. The total printing time is approximately 5.5 hours. Attach the island's top to its base using acetone for a seamless bond. Place the lighthouse on a nail for display, consider painting or adding flocking and trees for a more realistic touch. Native print size represents a 1:720 scale. Alternatively, you can print only the lighthouse top if desired.
