Floating Hatchery w/LID
thingiverse
I am finally able to give you all an update. My Albino Cory Catfish just laid eggs, which are sitting there helpless - getting eaten away by unseen enemies with each passing moment. So, I hastily came up with this quick fix and scaled it down to 75% real quick. I scaled the lid right back down to 73%. The STL still might need an update, but it's doing its job beautifully so far! The thing that got me moving on this project was my tank's need for a secure cover - the constant flip caused by the HOB filter and the water circulators was getting really annoying. Since I'm dealing with a Glo tank here, I just used a bright color to get things done quickly - and trust me, it turned out super cool. Printed on 2 shells at 5% fill.
