Floating glass

The Floating Glass
I recently stumbled upon this unusual-looking glass: https://www.thebeachglass.com People were scratching their heads, wondering if the 3D model was real, whether it's safe for food, if it actually floats, and if it comes in various shapes and sizes. Yes, the 3D model is a reality, it does float thanks to nuts that can be screwed onto the glass, and yes, it's available in different forms. Two sizes are offered: • 155 mL - perfect for wine • 245 mL - ideal for soda or beer
Disclaimer:
I'm using metric units, so an ISO M8 thread is used. It's not considered food-safe to drink from PLA, PETG, or ABS 3D printed materials. However, if you clean your glass thoroughly, there's no cause for concern about drinking from it. The real danger lies in the wine itself, not the glass. (A dishwasher is not recommended.) To protect your glass, consider adding a resin coating. The main issue might be a leaky glass, but this depends on your printing technique.
