Floating Fish Feeding Ring - Betta Tank

This device is designed to maintain a clear swim zone for your aquatic life. It's particularly useful when you have floating plants, like I do. Notes on Design: The ring features depressions at the top and bottom for drainage holes, which fit the included stoppers. I use uncured resin to attach them, then cure everything again. You'll need to hollow out the ring in your slicer, adding holes centered in the recesses afterwards. I hollowed it down to a 0.5mm wall thickness to achieve the desired floating level. You may need to adjust your hollowing technique to reach your preferred level. I've included screenshots of how I laid it out and added supports for my Elegoo Mars and Anycubic Photon, as well as a screenshot of the hole required. For those concerned about safety, I'm closely monitoring the tank's health. Since it's a new setup, if this doesn't work out, we'll know its level of safety. The Betta has constructed several bubble nests, indicating clear signs of happiness and health. It's Anycubic Eco Resin, which has been in there for several weeks, with regular water testing to check for unusual chemicals leaching out. So far, nothing unusual has shown up. Fish and aquatic plants are great indicators of water quality – both are happy and healthy so far. I make no guarantees about the safety of your fish with any resin you choose. This device is attached to the filter return, pumping every bit of water in the tank through it several times a day. If there was going to be a problem, it would likely show up in plant or fish health. However, I make no guarantees since manufacturers could change resin composition at any time without notification. I'm currently printing everything with Elegoo Water Washable Resin Transparent Blue to test its effects in a separate tank and see if the fish survive.
