Floating Extruder (for lack of a better name, let's call it the Bob up and down extruder)\nUsed with a Delta printer. I employ this on my Mini Kossel Printer.\nDesigned to utilize a Wade Extruder.\nEnables the use of a bowden extruder setup without requiring bends in the bowden tubing. Allows for the shortest possible length feeding tube. Since the tubing remains straight, there is reduced force needed to push plastic through the bowden tube and it requires less retraction. Also, the bend in the bowden tube doesn't apply lateral forces on the end effector. I became frustrated when my printer repeatedly retracted and kept tearing up the filament resulting in failed prints. Now I can print really fast with great results.\nCons: Makes the printer really tall (basically doubles height)\nThe extruder moves up and down with the end effector which applies less forces on the end effector when printing. The elastic band adds a counter lifting force so there is very little force needed to move the extruder up and down.\nComponents:\n2 - lm8uu bearings\n2 - 8mm rods (length determined by print height)\n1 - elastic banding\n1 - Wade Extruder with bowden\nPrinted parts:\n1 - Riser\n1 - Top_Riser\n1 - Riser Bungee Clip 1 & 2\n1 - Roller\n2 - Riser Mounts
