Floating Centrecap (67mm) for BMW Wheels

This is a basic design for a floating wheel centrecap set I built for a video on my channel. To see how it goes together and works, the video can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlkLC8Ly9cw&t The most important aspect of this project is ensuring that the bolt/nut combination you use for the centre shaft is a snug fit. Even a small amount of play will make the centrecaps sit on an angle and they won't self-level properly. This is designed for basic scooter / skateboard wheel bearings with an 8mm inside diameter. The face plate has a 7mm bolt hole diameter, and I used a set of sleeved bolt pairs for mine (the same you'll find used in kick scooters). The weights I used are spherical 12mm fishing line weights. You'll want a few washers to get the spacing between the face plate and the body precise. And finally, here is a link to the centrecaps I used for your reference: shorturl.at/dptHX (eBay listing) Enjoy!
