Floating Card Deck Display

Floating Card Deck Display

thingiverse

I enjoyed some of the other deck displays that held a card deck against the wall, but I wanted one that made it look as though the deck was floating a little away from the wall. So I designed this to meet my needs. I used 3lb command strips to hold the mount firmly in place against the wall. For slicing, I'm using Cura 4.6.1 and the experimental tree supports have been working fantastically well for me. Your mileage may vary, so use whatever support structure works best for you. The "arms" will definitely need it, however, so be careful removing the supports to avoid breaking them. I made a second design in an attempt to save some plastic and potential print time, but it ended up being about the same after factoring everything in. I included the second design anyhow, just in case you like that one better - go for it if you do! The center sections shouldn't need supports; only the "arms" that hold the deck in place will require them.
