Floating "Boat Life" Keychain (suggestions welcome)
thingiverse
Floating "Boat Life" keychain boasts a waterproof cube design with 2mm thick walls that withstand rough handling, including being dropped or sat on. The cross-section image clearly shows the wall thickness and sloped ceiling walls, which facilitate smooth printing from bottom to top and gradually close the top gap that would otherwise be too wide for a 3D printer to span. It takes about an hour and a half to print this keychain. It can securely hold an average-sized padlock from sinking, comfortably accommodating most people's keys. As a result, you can safely scale down the print in your slicer, such as Cura. If you have ideas for alternative designs on the sides, I'd be happy to modify the text or add a logo or image of your choice. You can request raised or recessed text, and I'll post the STL file for a new design that others will enjoy printing too.
