This valve receiver is a key part of the float valve assembly, controlling water levels within the Food Rising Mini-Farm Grow Box, a pioneering non-electric growing system created by Health Ranger. All 3D printed parts can be downloaded from FoodRising.org, along with step-by-step instructions and DIY videos. This component requires a 15mm diameter hole for mounting, securely fastened to the side wall of the grow container, approximately 2-1/2 inches above the bottom of the vessel. A fully functional float valve demands printing of the Float Valve Adapter and the Retention Nut. To Print This Component Successfully: Approximately print time = 18 minutes Filament: Taulman T-glase, any color is acceptable Print temperature: 250C Bed temperature: 0C - 70C Nozzle size: 0.5mm - 0.7mm, smaller than this can lead to failure Layer height: 0.35mm (do not go below 0.3mm) Print speed: 25 - 40 mm/s (50% for first layer) Filament flow rate: 90% - 94% Infill: 100% Never use ABS or PLA, the model will be excessively fragile.
