PICTURES OF RETIRED VERSION WITH PING PONG BALLS REMAIN ONLY TO DESCRIBE ASSEMBLY AND FUNCTION. The floatation force with ping pong balls is inadequate and that method should not be considered imo. Therefore I removed those files. Float valve designed for tube with an inner diameter of 8mm and outer diameter of 11mm. Can be clipped on the side of buckets and the like. Recommend also fastening it with for example velcro on the outside of said bucket to prevent sliding as the lifting force is rather strong. -Assemble the parts using a straightened paperclip. -Provide floatation by tightening the cork on an empty bottle tightly and then glueing the cork into the slot on the floating part -Make the "stop" watertight using for example rubber strips for attaching bells and lights to bicycle handlebars. There's an around 4mm gap to be covered. Recommend gluing seals to both the folding arm and over the exit hole. Poke or drill a large enough hole through where the water exit hole is. -Make sure of no leaks by covering the connector in some glue before attaching the tube. -Test the device in a place where any leaks won't cause any damage (read outdoors) to verify your seal does the job. Designed from scratch but got some inspiration from oyas ollas float valve, thing:4195384 Designed for the tube https://www.bauhaus.se/pvc-slang-8x1-5mm Site is in Swedish but you can at least translate and find the specifications of the tube. Decided to use another kind of tube the last second so it's not the one in the pictures.
