Float Switch Standoff 1.25 Inch

I required a standoff to insert a float switch into my Reef Octopus 200-INT skimmer, which allows for clearance from the lid so that once the skimmmate reaches just below the max level, the skimmer shuts off using my controller and I receive an alert. There is a pre-threaded design and a non-threaded design that can be tapped on both sides (M8-1.25). Installation instructions: -Drill a hole of appropriate size. I had to drill a hole at an angle from one of the air vents to clear the side of the skimmer cup. -Remove the nut and washer from the float switch -Thread the cable through the center -Thread on the standoff (male float thread to female standoff threads). Place the washer on the standoff male threads -Insert the float switch cable and standoff into the skimmer top and lock in place with the nut. Do not overtighten
