This model is crafted to mimic an inflatable vessel, ensuring that as water enters the float, a clever mechanism allows it to open and seal itself, creating an air pocket above the coins. Strategically cut out sections around the outer casing enable the air pocket to form above the coins, granting stability akin to a sailboat's keel. With a maximum carrying capacity of 11 American pennies, this boat measures 85 mm at its widest point. Challenges encountered during development include: 1. Unsatisfactory carrying weight. 2. Coin holes proved too narrow. 3. The model was found to be unstable. 4. Printing the model took an excessively long time, clocking in at 165 minutes.
