FliteTest Sparrow Firewall Motor Mount

FliteTest Sparrow Firewall Motor Mount

This is the firewall mount for the FliteTest Sparrow foam board plane's motor. The build instructions are to cut this out of plywood, so I created a model for 3D printing instead. A small cutout has been added for the button to give space for wires, and a lip has also been added to aid alignment within the box. It is recommended that only the outer face be glued, not the lip, as removal of the firewall can then be done by slicing through the glue. If you glue the lip too, removing the firewall will be tricky if you need to change the motor. Versions 13XX, 18XX, and 22XX are available. It should fit all 1306, 1806, and 2206 motors. The 22XX version does not have a lip due to limited space for bolts. Print settings: printer brand is RepRap; Prusa i3 is the printer model; no rafts or supports are used; 0.3mm layer resolution is applied; and 100% infill is utilized.
