3D Printable FliteTest Bat Bone Tricopter. Unfortunately, I decided to have a go at creating a 3D printable version because FliteTest stopped selling the Bat Bone. This project is about 50% complete and has been scaled down by 2% to be printable on a desktop 3D printer. -- Version 0.1 -- 01/28/2016 - I added landing gear and motor mounts from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:474933. 01/27/2016 - I updated all parts for proper snap fitment. 01/15/2016 - I added a top plate. 01/14/2016 - I added a bottom plate, and both supports. -- Printing -- With PLA Plates - 70% infill, 3 shells, 0.20 layer height. Supports - 70% infill, 2 shells, 0.20 layer height. Removal Be careful when removing the supports from the print bed because they can be fragile. -- Instuctions -- Hardware ~10 XM3x?? - TBD 2 X Wooden Arms (1/2" x 10") or (13mm X 250mm) Assembly With either plate, snap all of the supports into the channels carefully. Then position the other plate on top and press together carefully. -- Source -- http://www.stonekap.net/ftplans/RB-Bat%20Bone%20BODY%20Ver%200220.dxf
