Flite Test Storch Steerable Tail Wheel

This is a fully functional tail wheel for my trusty Flite Test Storch aircraft. I constructed it using PLA, but any suitable material can be employed. The wire dimensions are contingent upon the size of the tail wheel in use; however, a 2mm diameter wire should suffice to support the weight effectively. For my application, I utilized a 1 inch wheel. To ensure secure attachment, holes must be drilled for the wire. A small pilot hole is necessary where the wire passes through or into the plastic material. Drill these holes by hand, utilizing a pin vise if available, as excessive force can cause the plastic to melt. Once complete, I secured the parts to the plane using hot glue.
