Flite Test Sea Duck Magnetic Canopy
prusaprinters
The Flite Test Sea Duck is one of my favorite planes but I find the opening in the top rather small and inconvenient. This requires a slight alteration to the plans. I basically hack off the front of the foam board canopy and put this in it's place during the build. Allows for much better access to the electronics. It does however make it slightly less waterproof but It should be fine as long as you land right side up :). Things to be aware ofThis was designed off of a 95% model. You may need to adjust the size in the slicer based on your model.Magnets as designed at 10x5x3 rare earth magnets (Neodymium). There are 3 per side and it is hard to get off. You could probably easily do with maybe 2 per side.
