Flite Test Power Pod with motor mount
thingiverse
I'm modifying my Super Bee power pod, but this time I've removed the downward angle that's required for the Super Bee. Instead, it has a 90-degree angle like other models such as the FT Arrow. Since I'm working on a model without an angle, I figured I'd share what I've uploaded. If you don't want to use the Flite Test motor mount, I've included the SVG file that I use for the motor mount on the front of the power pod. I cut it out of 1/8-inch plywood or MDF using a laser cutter, and it's worked perfectly so far. I haven't tried 3D printing the motor mount yet, but I imagine most people don't have access to a laser cutter, so I've also turned it into an STL file. If you're feeling adventurous, you can try giving it a shot. **Print Settings:** * Printer Brand: Printrbot * Printer: Printrbot Simple Metal * Rafts: No * Supports: No * Infill: 100%
