Here is my improved solution: I wanted a landing gear that's more robust and easier to maintain, so I designed this stout mount from scratch. As you can see from the rugged look of my Scout's Fuselage, it's been in tough battles and emerged victorious many times, even after a full wing replacement! This mount is a prime candidate for cloning, and with minor tweaks, it works flawlessly on the FT mini Sportster as well. For added security, simply add a small wood screw to the center; once inserted, it provides extra tension, while removing the screw allows easy gear release when desired.
