Flite Test Gremlin VTX02/3 Top Plate

I designed a top plate to mount on top of the Flite Test Gremlin "Josh Bixler's" Frame design using existing standoff locations and screws, which fits perfectly over a VTX02/03 to protect the video transmitter purchased from Banggood. Depending on the version you choose to print and the camera you mount, this top plate may also provide protection for your camera. On my Gremlin, I used aluminum standoffs purchased from Banggood, with 15mm front standoffs and 8mm rear standoffs. The bottom default standoffs that come with the Flite Test kit may need to be changed so there is a stud sticking through the gremlin top plate frame. I am unsure what actually came with the FT kit. There are three versions of this top plate design: VTX Plate V1.0, which has no ridge for increased strength but is very durable; VTX Plate W/Ridge V1.1, which adds a ridge for extra strength and extends over the camera lens (no Gremlin printing on plate); and VTX Plate W/Ridge and 4mm front extension V1.2, which adds an additional 4mm to the front of the plate for even further camera protection.
