The new spar design boasts a sturdy, thin-walled print that reinforces the central section of the bluntnose versa's wingspan. The previous version, constructed with three layers of foamboard stacked together, had a tendency to soften, allowing the wing to flex excessively. This updated spar configuration offers significantly greater strength while only marginally increasing weight.
