Flite Test Bloody Baron Motor Pod w/ Battery Tray

Flite Test Bloody Baron Motor Pod w/ Battery Tray

Recently a group of my friends and me constructed the bloody baron from plans on the Flite test website. We are having an absolute blast building them. I encountered an issue with my firewall staying attached to the motor pod. Occasionally, the prop would hit the ground first when landing. To resolve this problem, I designed an entirely new motor pod that can be 3D printed. It is only 10 grams heavier than the original foam pod I had created. With the motor setup from Flite test, the additional weight poses no issue at all. The frame also features numerous mounting options for all the gear and a convenient spot to tie a combat ribbon without damaging the foam board. I also developed a snap-in battery tray that recesses the battery into the fuse neatly by attaching it to this new motor pod. Check out the pictures of the actual unit in operation.
