Flite Test Bloody Baron Motor Pod w/ Battery Tray

Recently a bunch of my friends and I built the bloody baron from plans on the Flite test site. we are having a blast building them. I had an issue with my firewall staying attached to the motor pod. occasionally the prop would hit the ground first when landing. To fix this, I designed a whole new motor pod that can be 3d printed. It is only 10g heavier than the original foam pod I had made. With the motor setup from Flite test the extra weight is not an issue at all. The frame also has plenty of mounting options for all the gear. and a nice spot to tie a combat ribbon on that will not rip out the foam board after a while. I also made a snap in battery tray that recesses the battery up in to the fuse nicely by attaching to this new motor pod. Check out the pictures of the actual unit installed. Happy Flying. Update: After additional flight tests and using for combat, I recommend using Version 4 of this motor pod that I updated this post with.
