FLIR Scout TK PVS-14 compatible mount
thingiverse
After purchasing the FLIR Scout TK, I needed an easy mounting system to effectively utilize it on my PVS-14 NVG mount. After several iterations, I came up with this solution. Please note that when installed, it may aim slightly downwards, so adjust the angle on your Rhino mount or any other mount to compensate for this issue. Additionally, it's not compatible with a left-eye mount being swung to the right eye; it will likely obstruct your nose. I decided to share this design publicly since many people were searching for something similar online, and I prefer releasing it for free rather than profiting from it. To assemble this mounting system, you'll need 2 M3 bolts and nuts. The nuts should be inserted into the small slots on the side. Then, slide the monocular through the large hole, followed by securing the "smaller body" model on the back near the eye piece using dog-down fasteners. The assembly process should be straightforward; however, if you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask in the comments section below. This design features multiple mounting holes on top to accommodate different distances from the eye. When installing it, make sure that the buttons face downwards, as pressing them can become challenging otherwise. Lastly, keep in mind that this design covers the charging port, so you'll need to remove it to charge your device. If there's enough interest, I will consider designing a version with a hole for easy charging access.
