Hello everyone, Long time member and first time contributor. This is my first round of published designs after teaching myself how to use F3D. please let me know what you think! Item: This is a Tripod stand for the FlirOnePro ( USB-C ; Android Version). I am sure it will work just as good for the IOS; lightning plug version; being that the only difference between the two is th USB plug interface. It is a great and powerful Flir Camera but sometimes it can be a bit awkward to use only attached to a phone or tablet. . Hence why i designed and printed this " stand/ Holder“ It allows you to uses the camera physically independent of your phone or tablet device. Note: a good quality USB-C extension cable and or the appropriate high quality ; video capable USB-C connectors/ adapters are needed to transfer the signal between the camera and your device. I am a bit of a perfectionist and won't post anything unless i believe it is as perfect as i can get it. This one is pretty darn good!. Tolerances are pretty much perfect. Charger slides right into the mount ( Without scratching it) and it stays right in with no no problem. I would call it a snap in " interference fit" . I also added a few “ flex/ relief holes” through the design. This helps it flex a bit when snapping the camera in; especially with stiffer filaments like PLA ( which is all I used) Also you can see in my pictures the print looks a bit “ rough “ in spots. This is only because I forgot to turn supports on. Still totally useable but a bit rough as you can see. I would recommend using supports. Lastly, I added a couple of standard ¼- 20 camera heat inserts. This allows it to be mounted to tri-pods or other camera stands with ease. There just are the standard heat inserts that are available all over amazon; pressed in with a hot soldering iron. Hope someone else can use it!
