This is an alignment jig designed to precision-cut notches on 5.25-inch floppy disks, transforming them into "flippies" - aka double-sided disks. When combined with an X-Acto knife or scalpel and steady hand, the resulting notches can mimic those made in a factory, even for inexperienced users after a bit of practice.
