Flipped and Scaled - iPhone 6 Plus Dock w/ Integrated Watch Charging Station
thingiverse
I adjusted the positioning of my Apple Watch stand from the right-hand side to the left-hand side. Next, I reversed the iPhone Dock so the glue point is now located on the left hand side. Additionally, I scaled up the iPhone dock by a factor of 1.03 to perfectly fit within my specific apple case. It offers just enough room for an uncased iPhone but works exceptionally well with Apple Leather and Karvt iPhone 6+ cases. The printed setup requires use of a Makerbot 2 printer. Optimal settings include 10% infill, Layer Height of .2mm, two Shells, and PLA material heated to 222F. I recommend printing both individual files separately and then bonding them together using glue. Since flipping the Apple Watch dock's STL resulted in no support requirements, it was necessary to subsequently file down the cable channel on that component. Finally, securing the components firmly with Loctite ensures they remain firmly connected.
