Flipped and Reversed Einsy Cover, Tweaked
thingiverse
I'm a big fan of Martin's design as is, but I wanted to make some tweaks to suit my needs. Here are the changes I made: * Bumped up the square nut traps in height * Expanded the M3 clearance holes to 3.4 mm diameter for a perfect fit * Added .3 mm extrusions to hex and screw countersinks so they print as bridges instead of overhangs, which is a huge improvement * Removed the Prusa text from the cover because it's just cleaner looking to me * Swapped out the slat vents for honeycombs - no particular reason, I just like how they look better * Increased clearance on fit for cover hinges so everything fits together smoothly Give the original design a try if you want to see what Martin had in mind!
