Flip Top for Regular / Small Mouth Mason Jars

I've now designed a lid for my regular / small mouth mason jars http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:534800 which is similar to a flip top. This new design will fit standard mason jars, replacing the original sealing cap and still using the screw-on ring. For smooth bed printers, users can get away without a gasket, but a small bead of silicone applied to the bottom edge provides an excellent seal. My printer's ability to bridge small gaps made support material unnecessary on this cap design. Printer specifics may require undercap supports; assess your printer's capabilities to determine necessary preparation. Instructions: Print both a lid and a separate cap component then align the tangs of the cap within the predrilled holes on the lid. Add silicone sealant between the jar rim and the top, if a smooth bed print fails to provide adequate contact. This design prints fine with precision bridging techniques without added support.
