I purchased a Flip Lock tripod several years ago that got damaged during airline transport. The consumer-grade Flip Lock model FL is incredibly lightweight, remarkably easy to use, and quick to set up. After my tripod's lever broke, I had to rely on a pair of compact vice grips to adjust the leg that was no longer functional. Recently, I acquired a brand-new Zonestar P802QR2 3D printer. With this new tool at my disposal, I decided to learn the entire 3D printing process by fabricating a replacement lever for my trusty tripod. The part has straightforward geometry, it's relatively small in size, and its functionality makes it an ideal project for beginners.
