Flint Vases

I'm captivated by the organic curves that emerge on weathered rock surfaces, eerily reminiscent of ocean waves. These undulating patterns have inspired me to craft the Flint Vases, a series of four unique designs that twist and turn in diverse directions. Printed in vase mode or spiralized for added flair, these vases boast a sleek appearance with minimal top layers and at least two sturdy bottom layers – I prefer 10-15 for a rock-solid foundation. Layer height should be carefully managed, ideally below 0.2mm to prevent overhanging details from sagging. To achieve a smooth finish, it's best to use smaller layer heights, which also improve surface quality. My go-to setting is 0.8mm layer width for my trusty 0.4mm nozzle. The result is a visually striking vase that exudes sophistication and elegance. The models featured here were printed using Polyalchemy Elixir PLA, a premium material that brings out the best in these designs.
