It takes a lot of hard work to design and test RC-planes like this one. You can also download the latest version, "Flightboard Plus," from my website: https://3d-printz.at/produkt-kategorie/stls/ This is my Flightboard Light - an extremely compact 3D printed glider designed for carrying on your backpack during hiking or biking adventures. Wingspan: 600mm Takeoff Weight: 220g Structure Weight: 140g Wingload: 26g/dm² CG: 38-40mm Print all parts with 0% infill, 1 perimeter, 0.42-0.45mm extrusion width! Use two bottom layers and three top layers, print at 230C (PLA), 0.25mm layer height, with some overextrusion, and a 30% fan speed. Deactivate detect thin walls! The canopy has an integrated mechanism that requires your printer to be well calibrated. Fuselage and canopy parts should be printed with a 4-5mm brim for better adhesion. Make sure to clean your print bed properly! A perfectly levelled first layer is crucial for a smooth finish. This plane was built with simplicity and budget in mind. Printing can be done on one single plate, using a standard volume of 200x200x200 in just 20 hours. Assembly requires only electronics, superglue, CA hinges, and an hour of free time. Before assembling, please watch the assembly video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFoW04zoZDE It's essential not to glue the stab together with the wing halves, as the glue will dry too quickly to align them properly. Also, don't use any other glue than CA, as the stab could deform. When gluing the fuselage to the wings, make sure to align it with the center and apply a generous amount of glue to every contact surface!
