Flight stands for A Billion Suns with removable pegs and with ship names
thingiverse
I designed a set of flight stands for my spaceships, which I'm preparing for playing with the A Billion Suns game - http://abillionsuns.space/. They feature the name of each type of spaceship to help me keep track. The peg is intended to be removable and printed flat. You may need to adjust the scale up or down slightly to achieve a perfect fit for your needs. I found that when using higher layer settings, printing it larger solved the issue. To use these stands, grab your model and "Flight Stand cutting hole.stl" to cut a hole in the bottom center of it using your preferred 3D editor. This is straightforward in Tinkercad or Blender, and likely just as simple with other editors. If you're not comfortable with this process, consider using a small hand drill to create a hole after printing. I made the peg detachable for easier storage of my ships, but feel free to glue it in place if desired. Some additional components are included, which can be modified to suit your needs. Future versions will likely feature larger designs.
