Flight Controller Adapter
pinshape
I designed this flight controller (FC) adapter for my quadcopter project. My FC is a KK board from Hobbyking, which has a 45mm hole spacing, but the frame I bought features a 30.5mm spacing for mounting the FC - likely intended for an Naze32, a very common choice. This adapter simply converts the smaller hole spacing to a larger one, allowing me to use my KK board without having to zip-tie it or relocate it. Hardware: - 30.5mm hole spacing screws: standard M3 screws or smaller; I used what came with my frame. - 45mm hole spacing screws: I used a thread-forming M3 screw that works great, but other M3's might also work fine. If there's enough interest, I can create a version with threads. Just let me know. The adapter holds the FC securely and works perfectly. Print Settings: - Printer Brand: MakerBot - Printer: MakerBot Replicator - Rafts: Not necessary - Supports: None needed - Resolution: 0.2mm - Infill: 25% - Notes: I printed at a higher resolution to ensure accurate holes and a smoother top surface.
