Flight Controller Adapter
thingiverse
I designed this flight controller (FC) adapter for my quadcopter build. My FC is a KK board from Hobbyking that has a 45mm hole spacing, but the frame I bought has a 30.5mm spacing for mounting the FC, probably with an FC like a Naze32 in mind, which I believe is quite common. So this adapter does one thing: it converts the smaller hole spacing to a bigger spacing so I can use my KK board and not have to zip-tie it or put it in a different location. Hardware: 30.5mm hole spacing screws - standard M3 screws will do, or even smaller ones, but I used what came with my frame. 45mm hole spacing screws - I used a thread-forming M3 screw that works great, and other M3's might work just as well. If there's enough interest, I can create a version with threads. Just let me know. It's hard to see in the picture, but it works perfectly and holds the FC securely.
