Flick Uforang - collection
thingiverse
When kids get old enough to appreciate them as collectibles, they'll find toys from my Uforang collection joyfully treasured. To expand it further, I occasionally add new unique models for enthusiasts. The orange Uforang model is easily printable in its original state using an STL file, but if needed, simply mirror the design around the x-axis to ensure that left-handers can also fly it with ease. My green Uforang prototype is especially notable because of its minimalistic approach; consisting solely of 10 distinct layers with a thickness of 0.1 mm each, it showcases impressive flight capabilities. The current collection consists of two models: a smaller version and its larger counterpart. In the image I'm holding in my hands, you see the compact one. Its durability hasn't been compromised due to having double the layer count as the smaller version, and for all that extra effort it doesn't disappoint – in flight capabilities that is. For those looking forward to owning either size, the waiting period can be anywhere between 20 minutes with high-speed printing all the way up until about an hour using a slower mode depending on your device's speed; though in general most users agree its quite reasonable with average speeds coming at about half-an-hour for small designs.
