FlexyHand 2 with mesh
thingiverse
Users with a small or short stump have always had difficulties when using a FlexyHand due to the current method of using vecro to strap the palm. Because of this we designed a palm with an incorportated mesh. Huge thanks to Steve Wood and the Gyrobot team, who already had their own mesh design (Thermoform_Palm_Mesh). And of course, their FlexyHand design. This remix eliminates the use of velcro, as well as screws and the need to drill the mesh. It also has the advange of being easy to thermoform to the user's needs. Updated 11/04/17 We added the files for our thermoformable gauntlet, fingers and the other parts to fully assemble a flexy-hand. Visit our crowdunding page for more info
