FlexTILT Sizing Adjustments
thingiverse
The Edelkrone FlexTILT single print worked flawlessly. All the parts printed cleanly and to exact specifications. I ordered all the necessary components (brackets, screws, etc.) directly from Edelkrone. When the parts arrived, I carefully followed the instructions to assemble it... but upon completion, everything wasn't quite spot on. Everything fit together with a snug precision. The two parts that make up the top plate were nearly 2mm apart and the outermost arms were each an additional 2 mm away from the sides of the base plate. I turned to Thingiverse in search of possible solutions or remixes. I found one, but it was specifically designed for a side piece with magnets for holding an Allen key. I added a third magnet hole to the design. Now, the build is completely flawless.
