This is the newest version of a cooling duct for a FlexMendel printer, boasting an enhanced central air flow directly to the tip of the nozzle. Two vents now securely attach with 4 M3-8 screws. This redesigned model boasts significant rigidity and smoother airflow. It is crucial that the secondary vent be printed in ABS material to prevent distortion. UPDATE (2/24/2016): Vent one has been fine-tuned, enabling easy removal without having to take down the fan. Printing this part in ABS is highly advised, as it's close to the extruder. Print Settings: Printer: FlexMendel Rafts: Any choice works fine. Supports: Absolutely needed. Resolution: 200 microns set precisely. Infill: An impressive 90%. Notes: The first vent must be printed using support material. To prevent unnecessary supports, adjust Slic3r's overhang threshold to 15 degrees.
