This adjustable spool holder allows the spool to glide smoothly on four pieces of precision PTFE tubing, which automatically adjusts to accommodate all spool diameters between 150 and 205 millimeters. The four PTFE plain bearings provide a high level of support and rigidity for the spool, eliminating any tendency to lock the spool during rotation. Customizable files are available for spool widths ranging from 60 to 100 millimeters. A 75-millimeter version would likely accommodate the majority of spools on the market. Print the following files: 2 x SidePanel.stl 2 x Spacer_XX.stl (where XX is the preferred spool width) 2 x BearingBed_XX.stl (where XX is the preferred spool width) Required parts include: 4 pieces of 2.8 or 3 millimeter wood screws, each with a length between 12 and 16 millimeters. 4 pieces of 4 millimeter PTFE tubing, each with a length of XX + 2 millimeters (for example, 77 millimeters for the 75-millimeter version). 4 pieces of 4 millimeter PTFE tubing, each with an 8-millimeter length.
