Flexion type extruder (WIP)
thingiverse
I was inspired by the Flexion extruder's design, so I decided to create my own version. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford the $150 price tag, but that didn't stop me - I started designing it from scratch. This is just the first iteration, and it's definitely a work in progress. If you're interested in helping out with the design, feel free to use the included Fusion360 STEP file. Your input would be greatly appreciated. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.3mm Notes: I'm attempting to use ColorFabb CarbonFill, but it's still a bit experimental. How I Designed This: I used Fusion360 as my design tool and started with a Nema 17 model that I found online. I also referenced some pictures of the Flexion extruder to get an idea of its structure and layout.
