Flexible vibrating watch housing V4.6.4
thingiverse
This model was created after multiple iterations to house an Arduino Beetle BLE board and some vibrators. The goal was to run an experiment on mindless stress regulation in the context of driving a vehicle. Depending on the participants' heart rate and breathing rate, we sent vibrations to mimic the heart rate, but at a slightly different rate to see if we can reduce stress. Originally, there was space to house button cell batteries, but they were removed from the experiment because a light usb cable was sufficient. The next experiment concerned breathing rate regulation. The model was printed using 1.75 ninjaflex (ptfe) filament, and the electronics were sealed using a soldering iron at the filament print temperature.
