This is an adjustable tripod suitable for Galaxy S4, compatible with various phones. A demonstration video can be viewed at http://youtu.be/tMLmO11TfsE. It was designed by the user for personal use during extreme snow kiteboarding due to previously shaky videos (http://youtu.be/URNIPVCqAkk?t=12m58s). The source code is available on GitHub at https://github.com/chertykov/Tripod, and additional inspiration was taken from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:9095 and http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:8796. Printing instructions for the tripod are as follows: use a Prusa i3 with Slic3r software, 0.4mm nozzle, and 0.25mm layer thickness. Set infill at 30%. The required printed components include 10 segments (each for three legs), three tensioners, one plate (requires accurate printing due to built-in ball joint; print speed: 40mm/sec), three clamps, and one phone-mount (redesign as needed for your device/camera). Additionally, you will need one rubber O ring for tightening the clamps and a strong, non-stretch fishing line or kite line.
